How to access your Learning Works allowance

There are four stages involved:

  1. Registration - involves completing a Registration form
  2. Deciding on type of learning - involves completing a Personal Development Plan (PDP)
(assuming that your choice of learning is approved by Learning Works you will then proceed to stage 3)
  3. Applying for a Voucher - involves completing a Voucher request form
  4. Paying for your learning

Outline of the process

Registering with Learning Works is simply a process that allows us to check your eligibility and to add your details to the Learning Works database

When you decide on the type of learning you want to do you must inform us by completing a PDP.  The type of learning supported by Learning Works should show some benefit to both the individual and also the University.  All PDP's must be approved by the Learning Works departmental head.

When your PDP has been accepted you are now in the position to find a Learning Provider

When you have found your Learning Provider you should then complete a Voucher Request form in order to receive your Learning Voucher.

On receipt of your Learning Voucher you should take the it to your Learning Provider and we will pay for your learning up to the value of the voucher when the Provider sends us an invoice.

Happy Learning!
