The Language Centre is a test centre for the English Language examination known as the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).  The examination is held each month, subject to demand, and takes place on a Saturday.

The IELTS Office opens at 9.00am and closes at 5.00pm

2008 Test Dates

* "not GT" means that the General Training module is not offered on these dates.

Tests in this centre are held each month on a Saturday on test dates fixed worldwide.  Dates are provided well in advance.  

For the year 2009, the test fee is £105. 

We recommend you download the application form at http://www.ielts.org/ and post it to us. Your application form must be fully completed and include:

• two passport sized photographs (not more than 6 months old)
• a photocopy of your identification documents the page with your photo and the page with your signature
• the fee of £105 payable to 'IELTS Glasgow'. We do not accept credit cards

Incomplete application forms will not be accepted and will be returned.

If you wish to enrol for the exam you should return the application form with a cheque or postal order made payable to 'IELTS Glasgow'. We do not accept credit cards. DO NOT SEND CASH IN THE POST.

No change of date or refund will normally be considered except in the case of illness for which a medical certificate is required so please choose your test date carefully.

Candidates results will be posted 13 days after the exam.  Copies of the results can be sent by us to an institution of your choice if you indicate this clearly on the form.
