Social Programme and Welfare
For all students on Pre-sessional EFL Courses, we offer a supporting Welfare and Social Programme.
Your welfare is important to us and an advisor is available to answer questions, give advice and help with problems as the need arises.
The Social Programme events introduce you to everyday life in Glasgow and Scotland.
From October-June we offer one evening and one weekend event per month.
From July-September we offer one evening and one weekend event every week.
Our students take trips to well-known historical and scenic locations such as Edinburgh Castle, the Scottish Parliament, Culzean Castle, and Stirling’s Wallace Monument, as well as getting to know Glasgow’s vibrant city lifestyle with excursions to the BBC Proms in the Park and the recently refurbished Kelvingrove Museum.
Our students particularly enjoy celebrating their success at the end of the Pre-sessional Course with a traditional Scottish Ceilidh (dance) in University of Glasgow’s Bute Hall.
