Network *at- risk* periods
07:00am - 10:00am on Tuesdays
The national JANET backbone network and the regional ClydeNET has an *at-risk* period Between 07:00am - 10:00am on Tuesday mornings.
IT Services also time their network maintenance work at this time in an attempt to minimise distruption.
Service impacting work is usually announced via the normal IT services Alerts mechanisms see :-

The network is usually fully available during the times mentioned above, but people should be aware that there is a small risk that it might not be and should plan critical work with this in mind.
