The University maintains a Novell Directory Service, GLA_AC_UK and the associated services.

The NDS tree provides the authentication and filestore services for the majority of the Universities users.
The Common Student Computing Environment and the Serviced Staff  Desktop service are both underpinned by the NDS.

From the NDS we offer Filestore, Authentication, Email ( via the NIMS system), Certificate Issue and Signing and Desktop Management Services.

The service is available to any member of staff. . To gain access to the system you will need to register
