Moodle

Moodle is a type of Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) - a software package designed to help educators create quality internet-based courses and web sites.

In July 2004, the University Senior Management Group decided that Moodle would be adopted as the University's centrally supported VLE and a Moodle Roll-Out/Implementation group is now operational.
A Technical Group has also been established to support the development of Moodle.
