Password challenge response set

IT Services have set up a password reminder system to enable you to reactivate your account should you forget your password. 
To make use of this service you must first provide answers to a set of security questions.
These can be configured after logging in to https://selfservice.gla.ac.uk
and clicking the "Password Challenge Response" on the left hand menu.

About passwords

Your password is set to expire every 365 days. New students have a temporary password which will expire after 6 logins.
We suggest therfore that you change your password at the beginning of of term as a minimum.
You can choose to reset it as often as you wish using the password self service and we would recommend changing it every 6 months. See University password policy.
