About CSCE
The CSCE offers a consistent core set of applications and settings but allows departments the flexibility to augment the standard with more specialised applications to meet their needs. The latest versions of the CSCE offer further flexibilty to students by storing personal settings on the student's filestore.
The main components of the CSCE are:
- Word for word processing
- Excel for spreadsheet use
- Internet Explorer for browsing the web and using web-based e-mail
- Standard file management and anti-virus programs
The CSCE is not yet implemented in all departments.
