Charities strapline

You may be aware there are new regulations applying to charities that state we should have a strapline on all University business communications (including email) that refers to the University's charitable status.

Email

The Secretary of Court has requested that email sent outwith the University contains the strapline:

The University of Glasgow, charity number SC004401

If you haven't already done so, the strapline should be added to your email signature.

Other business communications

Some of you will routinely be issuing other business documents, such as purchase orders, contracts, advertisements and corporate reports.  These documents should also include the strapline, so please take steps to have them updated.
