GUID Discovery service instructions

(Requires active University of Glasgow email address)

1. Open up the GUID Discovery service webpage.
Enter your details in the boxes provided and click 'submit'.

2. If successful you will  be sent your user-id and a web address via your University email address.
Open the web link contained in the email and insert your user-id and staff number (6 digits).
If successful you will be sent another email with a randomly generated password and details on how to change your password on the password self service page.

3. We strongly recommend you change your password following our password guidelines and set your challenge/response questions to allow you to retrieve a forgotten password.
