Probation

Probation arrangements for academic staff, as appropriate should be agreed by the Convener and the Head of Department at the interview stage and will depend on the experience and qualifications of the candidate.  Guidance for probation is available on the HR website - probation.

Probation for all other staff including research will be 6 months.
