Post Release Procedure
The post release procedure is carried out on one form in excel format. The form should always be downloaded from this website to ensure that you complete an up to date version.
This supersedes previous forms: Staff Forms A,B and C and the Advertising Information Form. The Post Management Form should be completed for advertising and financial clearance of all vacancies and employment changes to a post or person.
Recruitment
The form is required at the Advertising stage to avoid delays later in the appointment process. Please read our Recruitment process illustrative timeline (PDF format).
Finance Office Clearance
Signatories on different funding types (General Funds & Research) are not affected by this change.
Please note that help is built into the excel sheet to assist with completion. It is important that the appropriate options are selected from drop-down menus to provide complete information assisting with the efficient processing of your request.
