The first Staff Women's network was held in March 2008, this was time to co-inside with International Women's Day annual held on March the 8th. The launch was hosted by the Gender Champion, Neal Juster and the Equality and Diversity Unit.

This network will supercede the GAP Women's network running until summer 2007.
