Getting Here
Air
Travelling to Glasgow by air is easy. The city enjoys direct access by both international flights and also access from UK 'hub' airports such as Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester. Glasgow International Airport is only 8 miles (13km) from the city centre and is just 15 minutes by road via the frequent shuttle bus, rental car or taxi. Glasgow is also served by Prestwick with its low cost European connections.
Train
Glasgow has two main line stations, Central Station and Queen Street Station, both of which are located right at the heart of the city. There are speedy rail links to English cities such as London, Manchester and Liverpool, along with cross Scotland links to Edinburgh and the Highlands to name but a few. For scenic trips north to places such as Fort William or Inverness, Glasgow is the perfect starting point.
Road & Coach
Glasgow is well served by motorways and offers easy access to some of the UK's most spectacular scenary by car. There are international car hire firms as well as local independent operators who will give you excellent service allowing you to move around the city easily whilst having the option to explore further afield.
