Pilot projects
The heart of the AUL@W programme is the pilot projects. Extended over three years and utilizing funding of £1.2m from the Scottish Funding Council the pilot projects aim to assist students in traditional academic subjects to gain valuable work placement experience beside their studies. The University of Glasgow, Glasgow Caledonian University and St. Andrew's University are working together with business and industry to pioneer ways forward in work placement, cirriculumn support and sustainability to ensure Scottish graduates are highly sought after.
