Copying Services

We provide photocopying and photographic copying services. The copying services are available to anyone, whether a member of the University or not.
Our primary purpose is to preserve the archives we hold for future generations. Therefore all copying is undertaken in accordance with our policy on copying (2 pages, 39kbsmall_pdf_icon). 
The current range of services and details of how long it takes are listed in our reprographic service price guide (2 pages, 53kb small_pdf_icon).  If you would like to receive your order by the end of 2008, or in particularly by 25th December, please take into account the following deadlines:
 

End-of-year copy order deadlines

The last day to collect an order from GUAS is Wednesday 24th December.

Our last posting date for getting an item to a UK address for 25th December is Friday 19th December.

Customers in the UK

To ensure that you receive your copies by 25th December, please place and pay for your order by the following dates:

Photocopies:  Friday 12th December

Plan copies (paper and digital): Friday 21st November

Photographic prints; document/image scans:  Friday 14th November

(Orders placed and paid for after these dates may be completed in time, but this cannot be guaranteed).

 

Placing an order

  1. Complete the copy order form (2 pages, 54kb small_pdf_icon) stating what format of copy you would like then print and sign it.
  2. Give it to a member of staff in our searchroom or post it. Please note that original forms with signatures are always required.
  3. We will then assess whether the item can be copied and advise you of the charges, methods of payment and timescales. Copies must be paid for in advance.

Copies are supplied on the understanding that they are for private study and research.
