University of Glasgow French and German Publications have been running for twenty years, with aggregate sales of over eighty thousand copies. The Introductory Guides to French and German literature are written in English and are aimed at a senior school and undergraduate reading audience; they number 55 (French) and 12 (German). In addition to these, two highly popular anthologies, of French poetry of World Wars One and Two, prove particularly suitable for modular studies. Twenty-five scholarly monographs have appeared on various topics. All titles are in print, and may be obtained from good booksellers, more speedily by e-mail order from G.Woollen@french.arts.gla.ac.uk, and postally from UGFGP, French Department, 16 University Gardens, Glasgow G12 8QL.
