Glasgow University jumps up the University Rankings

This view is confirmed by author James Bainbridge in the recently published Lonely Planet guide Study Glasgow. He says that he is “blown away” by how much the city had changed since he graduated in 1998, adding: “Of course, everyone has pride in the university they went to, but I really can’t think of anywhere I would’ve rather gone. The IBM Scholarship announced
IBM UK Ltd. has a close relationship with the Department which has led to the creation of The IBM Scholarship. An award of £750 will be offered to students of exceptional ability enrolling as Masters students in the Electronics & Software Engineering degree, with opportunities available for summer and project employment at IBM Greenock Software Development Lab. This addition to our portfolio of industrial scholarships emphasises the importance of Electronics & Software Engineering in the modern industrial world.
