Open Days

We provide a friendly and supportive environment for our students, but don’t take our word for it.  Come and experience the Dumfries Campus for yourself.  

Open Days provide you with the opportunity to speak to academic staff, find out more about courses, tour the facilities, visit student accommodation and see for yourself what life would be like as a student at the University of Glasgow, Dumfries Campus.  You are welcome to bring your friends and family too.

Dumfries Campus Open Days will take place on:

•       Wednesday, 24th June 2009
•       Tuesday, 11th August 2009
•        Monday, 7th September 2009

Registration for Open Day is strongly encouraged. By registering in advance you will receive a programme for the Open Day. This will allow you to plan your day at the Dumfries Campus before you arrive. Please click here to register.

If you have any needs that might affect your visit, please let us know in advance and we will do everything we can to assist you.

Applicants’ Visit Day

If you receive an offer of a place at Dumfries Campus, we will invite you to visit us before making your final decision. Applicants’ Visit Day usually takes place in March. Details will be sent to you together with your offer of a place.

Alternative visiting arrangements

If you are unable to attend one of our Open Days we are also happy to make alternative arrangements for visits to the campus when possible. If you would like to visit us, please contact:
