Research ethics

The Dumfries Campus Ethics Committee is responsible for providing ethical guidance for all research by its academic staff and students.  This can involve in-class teaching, short courses and evaluation of research proposals that have ethical implications.  The Committee's procedures are derived from those designed and operated by the Faculty of Arts.

The Campus Ethics Officer during Semester 1 is Dr Valentina Bold, and during Semester 2 is Dr Sean Johnston.
