The Crichton Tourism Research Centre (CTRC) is part of the University of Glasgow's Dumfries Campus. Its remit is to explore issues relating to tourism, heritage (cultural and natural), heritage management and related areas, such as development. We explore tourism in its international dimensions, together with a strongly local focus on our area of Dumfries & Galloway in Scotland.
