Current projects and completed projects undertaken by researchers within the Centre have focused on the social and economic impact of drugs misuse, with a particular emphasis on a Scottish context. The main research themes are:

• treatment effectiveness 

A fifth theme covered is training, the remit of the STRADA (Scottish Training on Drugs and Alcohol) project.
