CSIRN in the news

Professor Robbie Paton and Dr Stephen McLaughlin were both quoted in an article that appeared in the Telegraph on Friday, 15 February. Special series to run in European Management Journal

In 2008 the European Management Journal (EMJ) will run a series of papers dealing with services science and engineering. The CSIRN team, with Professor Paton as guest editor, have sourced provocative and cutting edge papers from across Europe and the United states. The series will run throughout 2008 with one or two papers appearing in each edition of the Journal. In addition, the publisher Elsevier, will mount and host a ‘blog’ to encourage debate and assist CSIRN in establishing interest in the emerging discipline of services science and innovation. The hope being to report back to the EMJ readership, and beyond, on the reaction to and consequences of the series in mid 2009. In addition, the ‘blog’ will form the basic building blocks of a major international conference planned for late 2009.
