Career Prospects
The study of Central and Eastern Europe, its history, economics, politics, culture and society at either undergraduate or postgraduate level offers a range of interesting and rewarding career prospects and opportunities. Our degree programmes will provide students with the skills to enter comerce, business, the foreign office and the media. From our postgraduate programme we can point to the influence of our graduates in the BBC and other media, in journalism and in developing trade with Russia and East-Central Europe. Choosing a degree course in Central and East European studies could lead you to a key role in supplying the world with information about events in the area or even in guiding policy-makers and developing trade and economic links with the countries of that region.
