Education

The Division is very actively involved in both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.  In addition, staff in the Division coordinate the Academic Foundation Programme in Glasgow University and the West of Scotland Postgraduate Deanery.  This programme provides to selected high caliber medical graduates two years of integrated clinical experience together with opportunities to develop generic and specific skills relevant to a future career in academic medicine.  Academic Foundation trainees are Honorary Clinical Fellows assigned to the Division.
