Postgraduate Research

There are excellent opportunities for postgraduate clinical and scientific research, possibly leading to higher degree qualifications(M.Sc., MD or Ph.D.). Initial enquiries should be made to Dr Mike Edward.
Research training leading to the degree of Ph.D. normally involves membership of the Faculty of Medicine Graduate School but can involve membership of the Graduate School of the Faculty of Life Sciences.
Check the Vacancies page for Studentships currently available.

Undergraduate Medical Education

Dermatology is an integral part of the New Undergraduate Medical Curriculum at The University of Glasgow. Students encounter dermatology throughout the five year course, but especially through clinical attachments in 4th year and (optional) special study modules in 2nd and 3rd year. We are also active in the Cancer Studies Module of the intercalated B.Med. Sci. degree course. Clinical and basic science electives are also possible (contact Dr Mike Edward).
